Bruce Scott was my amazing paralegal who took on my case for a case I wholeheartedly wanted to fight.The entire Pointts St.Catharines-Niagara team were professional, diligent, and took my case as if it were their highest priority.I spoke with Karen from their office- who was always professional, polite, empathetic and connected me with my amazing Paralegal Bruce Scott. She was fundamental in giving me the confidence they were the best fit to be my advocates.As a racialized visible minority - I experience microaggression and extraordinary differences in treatment by the entire system of society - from police officers, to prosecutors, to neighbours, and strangers at the dog park. I can be treated with a heavier hand, suspiciously and with a even greater degree of scrutiny that often times would never see the light of day, if I were Caucasian.The same could be said for my highly unusual case with the Niagara Prosecutor evoking an unusual legal clause of using a newly revised regulation, of "certified evidence" as an exhibit as somehow the sole proof that I was guilty.It is important to note, the Justice of the Peace presiding over my hearing, conducted herself with the greatest integrity and fairness. Her decision clearly indicated how she felt it was disappointing the Prosecution was trying to make a highly unusual connection as I was there to provide contrary evidence. The JoP even gave the Prosecutor time to act out extraordinary measures to leave the live court hearing in an attempt to locate the Police Officer. It was so incredibly obvious the Prosecutor was desperate to go above and beyond a reasonable doubt to try unfairly convict me on something that the whole court had to recess and review - because it was so uncommon.I am so thankful that I had in my corner Bruce Scott who defended to the last second against systemic unfairness, to which Bruce was also quite surprised.Thank you Bruce Scott for staying on my case and for being such an incredible advocate for me and for standing up for me.I recommend everyone in my situation to use Pointts St. Catharines.Sincerely,Hando Kang

I would like to say that my experience was very positive with Pointts. I originally reached out to them. They followed up consistently even though I was unavailable due to work circumstances. When I finally had opportunity to get back to them there was no negativity. On top of that, even though they were not in a position to assist with my minor infraction they still gave some pointers that they did not have to provide. Just quality customer assistance. I was extremely pleased with the efforts of Ed Disenhouse and his team at Pointts. .All charges were withdrawn and I received no demerits. Ed Disenhouse was professional and kept me informed of the status of the outcome on a frequent basis. I had just received word that my mother was very sick and admitted to hospital and I wanted to get to Kingston as quickly as possible. I made it to Kingston before my Mom passed away but unfortunately was ticketed on the 407 for speeding. Ed indicated during our conversation he would make every effort to have the fine reduced and demerits removed. He did better than that and had all charges dismissed and no demerits. I would like to say thank you to the team at pointts, they were without a doubt the best for me. I had an accident that was my fault, I felt absolutely terrible and was not sure what to do. I called others for help with no replies, when I called pointts they got right back to me calmed me down. We went over my charge which was hefty and very harsh on me, it had a large fine and points attached after pointts helped me out I was left just a little fine and I must say, the charge for their services was More than reasonable! I hope I don't get into trouble again but if I do I'm calling Pointts!
